Below are some case studies that were performed on children and/or parents to  determine, if there was an eating disorder and if so, how to treat it. 

Parents report barriers that they face while trying to help their child, either emotionally, physically, nutritionally or all of the above. 

-According to an article/study done by Child: care, health and development, parents find barriers to establishing healthy eating habits for their children, but are not finding time to prepare nutritious meals.

-A teacher is responding to a parent who demands their child drinks their milk, even though the child won't drink it at home. The teacher refers to her training through NAEYC for answers.

"Make sure my child drinks her milk" -  NAEYC

-A mom has Neophobia, which is a fear of any food that is new. This is a learned behavior that a mom passed on to her child.
